TAS-Corp is expanding operations and has opened a new office in Virginia Beach, VA. This is the third permanent location for TAS-Corp operations after opening a Houston Office last year. We are also very pleased to announce that CAPT Dale Fleck (USN-Ret) and LCDR Mike Oldham (USN-Ret) have joined the company and will run operations from Virginia Beach. Dale recently retired from his position as Commander, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group Two in Little Creek, VA after a long and successful EOD career. TAS-Corp was awarded a DHS contract to provide Terrorist Device Countermeasures Center support. The contract is a five year, multiple award task order under our GSA MOBIS schedule and was awarded to TAS-Corp and a small team of other companies after extensive competition. The maximum value of the contract is $46M and while that total will be split between the various awardees it is a big win for a small business. TAS-Corp competed for this contract in a full and open competition against some of the largest companies in the Homeland Security business, so we are very happy that DHS selected the TAS-Corp Team which consists of The Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT), Oklahoma City, OK; Zero-Point, Inc., Virginia Beach, VA; Civitas Group of Washingtion, D.C.; and MSA Security, New York, NY.
